Hey everyone. Wow it's been a while since I've blogged and I wanted to update everyone. Jess proposed to me on June 20th, 2011. We are going to be married, well in a sense. I am hoping by the time we have our wedding, gay marriage will be legal, but that's doubtful.
I don't understand how straight people can be married for 72 hours, or a week or month or whatever and that's "marriage" but gay couples that have been together for 20 years, can't get married because it will ruin the constiution of marriage? What is that? But that's the world we live in. It's true you don't need a piece of paper to tell you that you are committed to your partner, but you get so many things with marriage that are very necessary. I love my fiance will all my heart and soul, and no one can take that feeling away!! If you think you can, I dare you to try :)
